Summary

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate the partnership agreements toensure activities all levels are carried out, resolve problemsencountered, and determines the need for renegotiation.
  • Address questions, concerns and issues related to current andpotential partners and stakeholders.
  • Establish partnership agreements with federal/tribal/state/localgovernments, and/or local businesses and community groups todevelop specific strategies to eliminate enumeration barriers inspecific regions in support of the Decennial Census.
  • Develop presentations, give briefings, conduct meetings andpromote partnerships with various governments, local businessesand community groups.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GG-7, you must have one year ofspecialized experience equivalent to the grade 05 level in theFederal service. Specialized Experience is work experienceexplaining nontechnical information or providing on-the-job trainingon regulations, policies, or procedures to others or at briefings,meetings, conferences, or hearings OR work experience in providinginstructions or coaching others in athletic, leisure, or communityactivities, helping customers, clients, or members of the public whowere hostile or upset, handling customer complaints or providinginstructions to customers or the public either in writing or bytelephone.

EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level graduate leveleducation OR superior academic achievement. Such education mustdemonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to thework.

GG-0301-09:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GG-09, you must have one year ofspecialized experience equivalent to the grade 07 level in theFederal service. Specialized experience is work experience applyingcommunication principles, methods, techniques for the development ofcampaigns OR work experience in editing technical material fortargeted audience OR work experience interacting and dealing withthe public including media, state, and local government officials,community, businesses, and organization program officers.

EDUCATION: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Two fullyears of progressively higher level graduate education leading tosuch a degree OR LL.B OR J.D., if related. Such education mustdemonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do thework.

GG-0301-11:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GG-11, you must have one year ofspecialized experience to the equivalent to the grade 09 level inthe Federal service. Specialized experience is work experienceapplying analytical techniques and interpersonal relations indealing effectively with targeted audience; and analyzing the viewsand opinions from organizations and developing recommendations forstimulating interest in activities.

EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three fullyears of progressively higher level graduate education leading tosuch a degree or LL.M,. if related. Such education must demonstratethe knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
